The University of Leeds is a university of Russell Group in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, established in 1831. Originally called Yorkshire College of Science and later simply Yorkshire College, it incorporated the Leeds School of Medicine and became part of the federal Victoria University. together with Owens College.
For 2017-18, Leeds is ranked nationally between 10 and 14 (The Guardian, The Complete University Guide). Internationally, the university is ranked as the 32 best in Europe and ranked 93 in the QS World University ranking of 2016-17. Leeds ranked among the top three positions in the United Kingdom and the top 20 in the world in terms of employability of graduates (QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2016)

1. Be a UK / EU or international payment applicant
2. Have obtained at least a First Class Honors degree (1) or equivalent at the undergraduate level
3. Comply with the English language requirements of your study program if English is not your first language (applicants from the United Kingdom / EU, before or during registration, international applicants, before the corresponding scholarship deadline)
4. It has not been granted nor is it studying for a PhD
5. A PhD scholarship has not yet been received
6. Have requested a research degree and receive a student identification number
English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.
